Hi, and thanks for stopping by! I’m Olivia, the creator of Studio High Street and you’ll find me here in the Studio teaching a range of our classes. I believe in constantly evolving the status quo so that we are firing on all levels – I am satisfied only when the studio can meet and exceed our clients’ expectations for achieving their goals. If you have any feedback or requests, please feel free to contact me.

Brief background on me…Along with operating group and private classes from Royal Rehab in Putney and teaching yoga and pilates classes at the larger gyms in the Ryde area, my background has been specialising in delivering yoga and mat pilates onsite to various corporate companies in Macquarie Park, North Ryde. In addition to my own business, I have spent the last three years working part-time with physios and chiros to help our clients with ease of movement, increasing their fitness and working on various dysfuctional movement patterns.

Having endured a broken collarbone from a skateboarding fall at 21, and an arthroscopy and meniscus repair ten years later, I am no stranger to injuries and their ensuing imbalances. For my own injury rehab, I came to experience that the body needs to change up its regimen in order to continue seeing results and avoiding a plateau.

I particularly love the benefits of pilates for the body as we work with all types of muscle contractions in the movements (concentric, isometric and eccentric) however there is a large focus on eccentric muscle contractions which create strong and lean muscles as well as providing a great tool for body rehab and increasing range of movement. There is the ability for such a diverse workout with Pilates, which other modalities don’t offer.
